New Face Covering Guidelines at HFSC
Effective today, Monday, July 13th, Hill Farm will be requiring masks for all members age 5 and up. This past week a new order from Public Health Madison & Dane County (PHMDC) was released. While the order applies to indoor spaces, we believe this is an important safety precaution to take even when outdoors, as well as good practice for our younger members since they will be required to wear face masks when they return to school in the fall. Masks will be required at all times while on the pool deck (they are not required inside of the pool).
We have a limited number of masks available at the entrance for "just in case" purposes. Once the masks are gone, we will not be able to admit anyone over the age of 5 without a face covering. Here is a great video that shows just how effective social distancing practices and mask wearing are at helping to prevent the transmission of viruses such as SARS-CoV-2 (the virus that causes COVID-19):
